Hazelnut Brownie (Gluten Free)

INGREDIENTS
1 1/3 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips 5 Tablespoons hazelnut oil 2/3 cup sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2/3 cup hazelnut flour 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt INSTRUCTIONS
PREP. Preheat oven to 350° and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
MELT. Melt half the chocolate chips (2/3 cups) with the hazelnut oil in a saucepan on low, stirring to combine. Set aside to cool slightly. WHISK 1. Whisk together sugar and eggs until mixture is slightly lighter in color and no longer gritty, about 3-5 minutes. WHISK 2. Whisk together hazelnut flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. COMBINE. Stir the egg/sugar mixture into the melted chocolate. Stir in vanilla. FOLD. Fold in the dry ingredients until just mixed. Then fold in the remainder of the chocolate chips. POUR. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth out the surface. BAKE. Bake for 20-24 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly underdone. A toothpick should only come out with a few crumbs. COOL. Sprinkle with coarse salt and allow to cool. ENJOY! |
